How Does it Work ?

Tool Reimbursement is a Win - Win for both the employer and the employee.
The program is administered by an independent 3rd party that fulfills the requirements for an accountable plan under the fringe benefits tax codes.

Employer Wins:
Tool Reimbursement Payments are tax free so these payments decrease the amount of wages an employer must match FICA and Medicare payments.

In addition, any other "payroll based" expenses you have may also be reduced as well. This will vary based on State to State.

Employee Wins:
By receiving a completely "tax free" check for their tool reimbursement expenses and adding it to their typical wage check, their combined net pay is greater than before.

The employee also reduces their taxable income level as well which may also add to more savings.

How Much is Tax Free ?
The amount of each employee's tool reimbursement is based on their inventory of tools they have purchased for use on their current job, and other expenses they may be required to incur for performing their job. There are also several factors to consider based on actual depreciation they have, or were allowed to take on these expenses.

From this  total tool reimbursement the administrative transaction fee is deducted, and payment amount is provided to you as  the employer through our web based program.

You can print the checks from within your  online account, have us direct deposit directly into each employee's account, or print the report to for the amounts for an employee non-taxable reimbursement using your own payroll processing ... it is your option.

Payroll Processing is Easy ...

Payroll Reporting is Even Easier:
Other programs may require you to send the hours and payroll information to them so they will process and send all the reimbursements to you. This usually leads to additional costs for each transaction and possible other hidden fees.

With our tool reimbursement program you will process payroll as before. You
can elect to print the tool reimbursement checks separately directly from our web based software, direct deposit the tool reimbursement, or you can include the non-taxable employee reimbursements
in your normal payroll processing.

Our web based software keeps all employee records and reimbursement
rates on file for review at any time.

The system is simple and easy to use.

Your Technicians really see the benefit of increasing their net pay !

An employee that spends $3,000 on tools and equipment can increase their
own take-home pay by approximately $900, by
recording their expenses with
   tool reimbursement.

That same employee spending $3,000 on tools and equipment will result in
approximately a $230 savings to the company, so 10 employees utilizing this
program will result in over $2,000 in increased net profits to the company.

The above is solely for demonstration purposes and will vary based on existing inventory of tools as well as their individual expenses for tools and other related expenses to perform their work.
